Hello and welcome to my blog page.
As the title says this is my first blog ever. For those of you who don't know me I was born and brought up in India (southern India). I moved to the US in late 2000 to pursue my higher education and I got my Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Texas at Arlington and PhD in Physics from University of Texas at Dallas in 2008. I have been married to my lovely wife since 2008 and been living in Pittsburgh since late 2008. Pittsburgh is a beautiful city and is the "city of bridges" with many bridges across the 3 rivers (Allegheny, Monongahela and the Ohio river). Contrary to the belief, Pittsburgh is a very clean city and probably less polluted than any other major city in the US. Long gone are the days of thick smog caused by steel plants. Pittsburgh has a lot of history and is home to Andy Warhol, Pittsburgh Steelers (got six?), The Superb Penguins, perogies and the unbeatable Primanti sandwich!

My wife and I had our son in Pittsburgh and it was time to move back to our home base "Dallas, Texas" to be close to family and friends here to continue on to our next chapter in life. Having lived in a beautiful city such as Pittsburgh and becoming a father made me seriously think about photography to capture those moments.
